Tenor Josua Kim
Josua Kim is a lyric leggero tenor who brings clarity and sincerity to the meeting of text and music. Born in Vienna and trained first as a violinist, he now focuses on balancing sound, language, and dramatic flow in both opera and art song. His recent work includes covering Tito in La clemenza di Tito, appearing as the tenor soloist in a Beethoven Ninth Symphony masterclass with Marin Alsop, and performing roles such as Lippo in Street Scene and Buha Jangsu in Maek. He currently studies at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and continues to build a career that bridges Korea and the United States.
